Hey everyone,
Welcome to the very first edition of "AI for the Rest of Us." My name's Mario, and I'm the founders of Workforce AI.
Founder's Note
I started this newsletter for a simple reason: most conversations about AI are for engineers. They're full of jargon and complexity. But what about the rest of us - the founders, operators, and marketers who just want to get work done?
This space is for you. My goal is to demystify AI and share practical ways to use it as a teammate, not just a tool. We're building this company in public, and I want you to be part of the journey.
Let's get started.
The Core Insight: Thinking in Tasks
The first step to using an AI teammate is knowing what to delegate. Most people get this wrong. They think in terms of entire jobs, but the secret is to think in tasks.
Your job is complex, but it's made up of simple tasks. A huge chunk of these - up to 40-60% for many employees - don't require your creative genius.
Start thinking about your work in three buckets:
The Repetitive: Answering the same email ten times, scheduling meetings, filling out forms. This is the easiest work to delegate.
The Search: Finding that one slide in a 100-page deck, looking up a company policy, pulling a sales number from the CRM. This is knowledge retrieval.
The Action: Updating a Salesforce record, creating a support ticket, sending a standard follow-up. This is "agentic" work - where the AI does something for you.
Once you see your work as a collection of tasks, you'll be amazed at how much you can offload.
The Tactical Tip: The 5-Minute Automation Audit
Try this today. For the next hour, jot down every single task you do on a notepad.
At the end of the hour, look at your list. Circle every item that didn't absolutely require your unique skill or creativity.
That list right there? That's the list of tasks your future AI teammate will handle for you.
Inside the Lab: See it Live
Speaking of AI teammates, we're getting ready to introduce ours to the world.
We're hosting a private launch webinar for a small group of founders and leaders. It's not a boring product tour; it's a live look at how a digital employee can join your meetings, understand your commands, and take action.
Attendees get early access to the product and an invite to our private partner community.
If you want to be one of the first to see it, you can register here.
The Community Question
